Meet Nancy

Nancy Wagner is the owner of Wagner Law, a practice she started in 2012, after an almost 20-year legal career.

She graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1995 and joined the Washington, DC, office of Fried Frank, a 500+ member law firm with offices across the globe. Her practice there encompassed a wide range of government contracts litigation and counseling as well as white collar criminal defense and investigation, with an emphasis on False Claims Act qui tam litigation.

In 1999, Ms. Wagner joined Experience Works, Inc., of Arlington, VA, as Associate General Counsel and assisted this $100M non-profit with its goal of providing job training for senior citizens across the nation. In her role, Ms. Wagner was responsible for all government-funded contracts, as well as advising her client on a wide range of related issues.

In 2000, she returned to Cincinnati and joined GE Aviation, as an Information Technology lawyer, assisting her client into its first substantial web presence and leap into e-commerce. In 2003, she transitioned within GE from IT lawyer to Supply Chain and Commercial Contracts lawyer, leading legal and negotiation support of critical sourcing agreements and supporting commercial engine sales and service. Her role took her across the globe, with a primary focus in the markets of UK, Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In addition, she was appointed as legal focal point for GE Aviation’s commercial real estate leases across the globe.

Ms. Wagner launched her own practice in early 2012, utilizing her diverse experience, discipline and creative problem-solving to represent Cincinnati-area businesses and families. With an emphasis on contracts, counseling and transactions, she represents a range of local companies, from start-ups to emerging growth companies.

Along with business law, she practices in estate planning, elder law and probate, with a focus on helping individuals and families of all kinds prepare for the future.
